 Here, with great pleasure, we present the Annual Report of Little Angels School -CBSE for the academic year 2023-24. This year has been a journey filled with academic achievements, extracurricular excellence, and a sense of community that binds us together.

As the proverb goes, “Education is the key that unlocks the door to endless possibilities.”

Little Angels aims to be a center of excellence in education & we seek not merely to educate but to inspire. Our school – A Vision 21st century School had its humble beginning in the year 2004 under the management of Little Angels Educational  Society and has carved a niche for itself in the field of education. The performance of the school over these 20 years has been outstanding in all areas.

 

  • ACADEMICS

 

Our commitment to academic excellence has been reflected in the outstanding results in the CBSE board exams by the class of 2024. Their hard work and dedication have truly embodied the spirit of  knowledge-seeking that we strive to instill in every student at Little Angels School.

The school witnessed 100% results with a significant number of students securing more than 90%. The diligent efforts of both the students and the teachers contributed to this remarkable achievement. We are proud to share the results of the commendable performances of our students.

  • INTERSCHOOL/INTERSTATE COMPETITIONS

 

 

Our students have demonstrated remarkable talent and achievement beyond the confines of our school through participation in inter-school and interstate competitions. Ms. Ishita Mundada, a shining example of our students excellence secured the 1st prize in the Science Exhibition for Millets at the Malegaon taluka and further distinguished herself by clinching the 3rd position in the Nashik District-level competition. Additionally, our enthusiastic students from Classes 8 and 9 showcased their dramatic flair by participating in the Drama competition, triumphantly securing the 1st position at the taluka level and further impressing with a commendable 3rd place finish at the Nashik district competition.

Students from classes 6 to 8 showcased their ingenuity and technical skills in the Robotics competition held in Malegaon. Their participation highlighted our school’s commitment to fostering innovation and hands-on learning experiences. Furthermore, Little Angels School students enthusiastically participated in the Pandarwada competition organized by the Malegaon Mahanagarpalika Taluka, excelling in both the speech and quiz categories. Our students’ exceptional performance earned them 1st prizes in one category and 3rd prize in another.

These achievements underscore our commitment to nurturing versatile individuals who excel not only in academics but also in various extracurricular pursuits on broader platforms.

 

 

  • CENTER FOR EXAMINATION

 

School Served as a center for the Homi Bhabha Balvaidynak Exam, Junior Maths Olympiad (JMO), and Maharashtra Talent Search Exam(MTS) in 2023. Parakh SEAS survey was conducted in the academic year 2023 in Little Angels School.

The school boasts an enthusiastic and committed team of teachers across the Foundational, Preparatory, Middle, and Secondary sections and a dedicated non-teaching and support staff. Our dedicated and passionate faculty and staff have played a pivotal role in shaping the minds of our students. Their commitment to education goes beyond the classroom, fostering an environment where students can grow intellectually and emotionally.

 

TEACHERS TRAINING

Emphasizing the professional growth of staff, the school conducts regular Inhouse training sessions throughout the year. These sessions aim to refine teaching methodologies and enhance the skills of our educators. Workshops and seminars cover diverse teaching approaches, including traditional classroom methods, project-based learning, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Additionally, integrating technology, such as smart boards and educational software, plays a pivotal role in elevating the overall learning experience.

Beyond academics, our students have actively participated in a myriad of co-curricular activities, nurturing their creativity and talents. These activities are essential in molding well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also socially adept.The sense of camaraderie among our schoolhouses has been a source of strength and unity. Each house, representing a unique spirit, has contributed to the overall development and success of the Little Angels School-CBSE.

 

 

  • School Elections

 

At our school, we conduct electronic elections house-wise, providing students with a valuable opportunity to engage in the democratic process and select their leaders to collaborate with. This initiative not only fosters a deeper understanding of democracy but also empowers students to actively participate in decision-making within their school community. Through these elections, students develop leadership skills, learn about responsibility, and contribute to shaping the direction of our school. This hands-on experience prepares them for future civic engagement and instills a sense of ownership and pride in our school’s democratic values.

 

 

  •  Investiture ceremony– a solemn occasion where the young students are all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. To inculcate leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of leaders and a sense of responsibility the “Student Council” is formed.

        Events

 The school hosts a rich tapestry of events and celebrations, both nationally significant and culturally vibrant, contributing to a lively and diverse academic atmosphere. National pride and enthusiasm resonate during grand celebrations like Independence Day and Republic Day, where the entire school comes together to commemorate these pivotal historical moments.

The festivities include the joyous occasions of Ganpati Festival, Navratri Fest, Children’s Day, and the spirit of environmental consciousness on Environment Day. Our commitment to holistic well-being is evident through our participation in International Day of Yoga, promoting physical and mental wellness. 

Science Day and Akshay Urja Diwas spark curiosity and innovation, while artistic expression takes center stage with events like Mandala Art. Gudi Padwa is celebrated with traditional fervor, adding cultural richness to our calendar of events. The school holds 2 important events annually: Energia – The Sports Fest & Malhar – The Cultural Fest.

Each celebration is a testament to our collective spirit and commitment to creating a dynamic and nurturing educational environment for our students. These events have been crucial in fostering a sense of teamwork and leadership.

     Music

The melodious tunes and harmonious melodies resonating from our music department have enriched the cultural fabric of Little Angels School. Music continues to be a soul-stirring component of our students’ educational journey.

To promote the budding spirit of young artists in the world of music, the students of Little Angels participated in various inter-school competitions which offered them the opportunity to showcase their talent in the world of 

music, be it instrumental or vocal. The mind-blowing performances from the students left the crowd stunned and petrified.

They bagged 1st runner-up in the Nashik Inter School competition and Winners in the Malegaon –  Sadhna kala manch competition.

Proud moment for Little Angels School – Mst Tirth Nahar is selected in U-14, Maharashtra Volleyball team

 School sports teams have participated in many such competitions like DSO Matches and have brought laurels to the School by qualifying at the divisional level. Participating in the CBSE cluster and Zonal matches students visited different schools all over Maharashtra to experience the different games spirit. Here I share the achievements of our teams:-

The inter-house competitions have been fiercely contested, and the sportsmanship displayed by our students has been commendable. These events have not only fostered healthy competition but also a sense of unity among the houses.Throughout the year, students participated in a wide range of competitions, including debates, quizzes, elocutions, art exhibitions, and cultural performances. The enthusiastic participation and spirited performances demonstrated the vibrant and diverse talents of our students.

 

 

  • InterSchool Competitions

 

 The school actively promotes volleyball by organizing interschool matches and tournaments for the students.

     SKILL BOOSTERS – STUDENTS SEMINAR & WORKSHOP.

In line with our commitment to holistic education, skill booster programs have been instrumental in equipping our students with practical skills that extend beyond the confines of textbooks. These programs prepare them for the challenges of the future.To address the emotional and psychological well-being of our students, the school organized regular counseling sessions.  One such program that Little Angels started since COVID-19 times ” Shape Your World “by inviting different faculties all over India to guide students related to different careers. Sessions on Financial Literacy, Nutrition, and Physical development, Eye check-up camp, and Dental Check-up camp.

The Student Council organized cybersecurity sessions aimed at guiding students from classes 5 to 10, providing valuable insights to enhance their understanding of online safety.

Dr. Sarika Deore conducted a specialized session on adolescence for students in classes 8, 9, and 10, along with their parents. The session was designed to educate and guide attendees about the physical and emotional changes associated with puberty. Dr. Deore’s expertise provided valuable insights and support to both students and parents navigating this transformative phase of development.

 

     ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION

At our school, we are deeply committed to environmental conservation through various initiatives. The entire campus operates solely on solar power, reducing our carbon footprint significantly. We actively celebrate Environment Day with a focus on tree planting and composting vegetable waste to promote sustainable practices. Akshay Urja Diwas is observed to advocate resource conservation and embrace renewable energy sources.  Nukkad Natak was performed to highlight the importance of celebrating a pollution-free Diwali, urging everyone to choose eco-friendly ways of festivity. Additionally, we have adopted a thoughtful gesture of gifting plants to our guests, encouraging the idea of nurturing nature and spreading green awareness beyond our school community. These efforts embody our ongoing commitment to fostering a greener and more sustainable environment. Our school is proud to have collaborated with the Lions Club on their innovative Tree Library program, through which we have adopted and are caring for 100 trees.

 

    NCC

The NCC wing of our school has instilled a sense of discipline, patriotism, and leadership among our students. Their dedication to service and the nation reflects the values we aim to impart.Students of Little Angels attend the annual training camp for 10 days in Dhule.  The cadets romped home with rich experience and a harvest of achievements. Our first-year NCC cadets were promoted by Commanding Officer Col. Parag Kulkarni Sir. The programs undertaken by the NCC wing – Swachh Bharat mission, tree plantation drive, unity run, and visit to old age homes with the amount donated by Music students to fulfill the needs of the society.

 

     BALVATIKA

The preschool at Little Angels is a vibrant and enthusiastic wing, where the playway method and activity-based learning form the cornerstone of education. This approach encourages children to learn at their own pace, focusing on social interaction and emotional skills for robust early development. Regular field trips enrich the learning experience, and the celebration of festivals such as Janmashtami, Ganpati, Diwali, and Christmas instills cultural values. Special days like Father’s Day, Children’s Day, Play Along, and Grandparents Day are celebrated to foster family relationships.Cognitive, gross, and fine motor skills are honed through sports, arts and crafts, and various competitions like fancy dress, storytelling, and dance. Science lab activities are incorporated to spark an interest in science. After three years in the pre-primary section, students are prepared to transition into mainstream school.The dedicated efforts of our teachers, coupled with a nurturing environment, have facilitated the overall development of our young learners. Interactive and age-appropriate teaching methodologies are employed to create a strong foundation for their future education.

   

   SCHOOL MANAGING COMMITTEE (SMC)

The school convenes four meetings annually, where key decisions are collaboratively made in partnership with the School Management Committee (SMC) members. This inclusive approach ensures that important matters affecting our school community are thoroughly discussed and jointly decided upon, incorporating diverse perspectives and expertise. By engaging with SMC members during these meetings, we strengthen transparency, accountability, and mutual understanding, ultimately fostering a supportive and cohesive environment conducive to the overall development and success of the school.

 

This annual report is to showcase the progress and growth of the school in terms of achievements and activities in the year. 

 

Our committed facilitators, the selfless support of the Managing trustees of the school, SMC members, the parent body, and students who are ambassadors of this Edifice have made it possible for us to be proud Angelites.

 

Many milestones have been achieved and many still have to be reached. We at Little Angels School will continue our unceasing efforts to mold young minds into well-balanced personalities equipped with a robust educational foundation and essential life skills.
